My name is Scott Simpson, and I am a junior finance major at Messiah College. At the age of 10, I began helping my neighbors with their yardwork to earn some extra money. At first, I was just blowing leaves or cleaning up flower beds. As the years went by, I took on more jobs from more neighbors. Over time, it became a great summer job for me.
I've been mowing grass professionally since I was 13 and have continued to grow the business since then. When it came time to make a decision on where to go to college and what direction to pursue, I decided to stay local at Messiah College and make this company and my customers a major focus of my life.
I chose Terrenum for the name of my company because it's the Latin word for "earthly." So, my company name translates to "Earthly Landscaping." Your yard is an extension of the earth and the environment that provides and cares for all of us, so we should do the same for it.
